I am Willie, your local electrician
My electrical career started as young as 8 years old. My father was a self-employed electrician working from Dunfermline, I would help out at evenings and weekends crawling under floors and above ceilings doing what I could do to lend a hand. It’s to no surprise when I left school I would sit my apprenticeship with my father. Getting apprentice of the year and various other awards my apprenticeship was second to none. Gaining invaluable knowledge of most forms electrical installations. I was time served at 20 years old when I entered ‘The Big Bad World’, working for various contractors as an electrician, approved electrician, supervisor and senior supervisor slowly building experience and knowledge which has proved invaluable. The thought of starting my own business had been present since the early days of my apprenticeship but it was in 2016 the decision was finally made and the ‘jump’ was taken. Naming the company after my daughter Ella was the only easy part of the process, walking out of full time employment to chase my dreams and goals was suddenly a reality and I’ve never worked harder. Now we’re here, providing electrical services throughout Scotland with family at the heart of the story. Ella Electrical Services Ltd is more than a company to me, it’s my legacy, it’s named after my daughter in the hope one day she’ll be a part of this story. To be continued…
